A Few of My Life's Lessons

Touch of Humanity:

Forgetting is the only way you can forgive.  If you don't forget about the injury you haven't forgiven

Time doesn't heal it dulls the memory of the injury.  Time is neutral.  Looking at the injury, admitting ALL your feelings about it, then thinking it through releases the memory of the injury from the pain/blame in the heart/brain section of your brain.

A bad situation will change when YOU change it.

If you don't take yourself seriously, who will?

God is Love therefore God Loves!  Lucky us.

Stay Safe

Sitting in Starbucks I see lots of Asians. . .

I see an older Asian man with a red zippered Bible unzipped and open.  He is listening to a young boy reading from a smaller Bible.  When he stops the man talks - looks like he's explaining to the boy in Korean?  Chinese? Language???

Also in Starbucks same day, I see young Asian lady wearing her hair in a ponytail--her head bowed concentrating on showing/explaining with her pen and her words the corrections she's made to a young asian 15 year old boy's paper.  The boy is paying close attention occasional saying or asking something.  It's impossible for me to know which.  There is a musical instrument in its black case leaning against a chair.  Acopy of a book with the word Barron across the front lay on the table.  

Last night here in the same L.E.S. Starbucks I saw a young Asian girl ?14 wearing a white cap and gown.  A woman, her mother, I presume, was snapping the girl's picture.  I said, making eye contact with the girl, CONGRATULATIONS!  They both smiled.  The girl was slumped.  I resisted the temptation to say "Sit up straight."  Instead I minded my own business as my mother use to say frequently.  I checked my own posture.  I sat up straight.

I'm seeing a Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother moment, I realize.  I love it!!  Do you know the book? I Love It!!

I'm not crazy about generalities but I lived in Chinatown/Little Italy/Orchard Street Shopping area community for 25+ years and I couldn't help but notice how positive the asians I observed live their lives.  And how the parents and grandparents invest time energy money know how in their children.  I love it!! 

Alexander and I did a short iMovie then put it on YouTube at the mainstreaming clues channel.  In it we're having a Yard Sale.  I chat briefly with a hard working Mexican young man (I saw lots of hard working positive Mexican men in that neighborhood near the east village).  As I stood there before buy wares the adults walked past as though I wasn't there.  The children took notice and commented.  One little boy pulled on his mom and she an American black lady bought something, a deck of cards.   Just before we stopped filming I said on camera, the immigrants and the very young who are alert--together we will save America. GOD I so hope so.

Mainstreaming Clues For The Marginalized

Notes taken during Dr. Mike Murdock's June 26th Talk at Inspirationcampmeeting.com in Charlotte, N.C.   He's the author of 120 books, a singer, piano player, songwriter, preacher, founder The Wisdom Center in Dallas.

Nothing leaves Heaven till something leaves Earth; Joy is the reward for discerning the Divine deposit (gift, benefit, reward) of the immediate moment

Your wisdom decides your wealth, health etc. ; Anything permitted increases; delayed obedience becomes disobedience; Ecceascles (can't spell it my Bibles are in storage) (Book in BIble) says money answers all things

Your income is determined by the problem you choose to solve; The role of your memory is to replay past memories; 

All problems are wisdom problems; Your ignorance is costly lol - I'm concerned about your ignorance lol

Pursuit is the proof of faith - God only reacts to Faith (pursuit); God does not work in your life relative to your need for him; Seed (effort/action) changes seasons.  God doesn't decide miracles  You do.  Seed faith is sowing something you've been given which will create something you've been promised.

Mercy, forgiveness, money, protection are seeds.

Seed decides the seasons of your life.  The man said money won't make you happy.  Murdock says poverty won't either.  lol

Faith is a fact and faith is an act

You must first become what you want others around you to become.  Seeds change seasons.  The instructions you follow determines the future you create.  Ross Perot the millionaire said you just need 1 idea and you could live like a King for the rest of your life.

Wisdom Keys:  1.  Focus decides feelings.  Focus decides what you feel.  What you feel determines what you pursue.  2.  Life's battles are in the mind.  You can know if your focus is right by how you feel.  God gave you the world for you to choose what you need for your world.  It's a table of contents.  You don't need everything in the world for your world.

If you don't decide your focus somebody else will.  Put pictures of what you want to focus on in your view.  Take them with you when you travel.  You must create an environment for your focus - focus decides your feelings and you control your focus.  

2. Mentors decide changes - He's not your cheerleader he's your coach - you follow his advice - he tells you where you're right and wrong. 

Parasite wants what's in your hand.  Protegee wants what's in your heart.  3.  Self portrait decides self confidence.  You always act like the person you think you are.  4.  Adversaries decide your reward.  Without Goliath David would have stayed a poor shepherd boy, obscure.  Enemies decide your promotion.  An enemy is a gate to the next season.  Adversaries decide rewards.  

Don't use victim vocabulary.  It empowers your enemies.  Vulnerability attracts bullys. 

The Law of displacement

4.  Pursue your circle of council (people to discuss and advise you) 5.  Attitude determines access.  Attitude is more powerful than genius.  Its a choice.  There are geniuses all over the ghettos with poor attitudes.  6.  Instructions are gates to recognition.  The person you pleasure is the person who rewards you.  

Murdock says he  never met a man who wasn't a lot of different men.  He wrote a song called:  God Loves Everyone of Me.  lol 

7.  Obedience proves trust.  God's obsession is to be believed.  His only pain is to be doubted.  Your Faith produces miracles.  Your willingness to follow God's instructions even when they seem ridiculous produces miracles.  Obedience proves trust.  Best friend you've got is the one who talks to you like you're a King.  Every man craves a nest without thorns.  Decisions decide wealth  Decisions decide joy, health, stress, etc. Obedience proves trust.  The willingness to wait proves trust.  8.  Pursuit proves passion.  You have no right to anything you haven't reached for.   You'll only return to a place of comfort.  God reacts to the "reacher."  

9.  Correction exposes character.  Your willingness to be corrected determines your success.  

Decisions decide wealth - dominant gift determines your wealth supply.  

The numbers got mixed up.  But the wisdom is clearly important and helpful to understanding. 

Robert Kiyosaki author or rich dad poor dad says in his book, Before You Quit Your Job, "In today's rapidly changing world the people who are not taking risks are the risk takers.  People who are not taking risks are falling behind.

Kiyosaki also said, "Silver is the best buy I've seen in my life."  They're tanking the dollar (the Democrats printing money and including billionaire radicals). And the rich are exchanging worth less dollars - the more money in circulation the less its worth. The rich are buying gold and silver.

I'm presuming I was not crazy from the moment of conception, although I have no confidence in the veracity of a conclusion arrived at by presuming. Americans presume America will go on whether or not they defend her against the internal destroyers of America or pretend they don't exist. My mother told me when I was 4 years old that she had tried to kill me when I was in utero but I did not die. The only thing that happened she said through moments of guffaws was her ears rang like dinner bells.

I had so many underground feelings picturing myself in her womb being prodded at and grabbed at--sensing though this woman was suppose to take care of me and keep me safe she was attempting to murder me!! That's pretty crazy. Childhood conviction: The world is crazy. Having no one to Talk and Share with, that conviction ruled part of my life for most of my life until I uncovered/remembered feeling/believing it. Never receiving clarification/explanation about my caregiver putting me in mortal danger before birth pretty much destroyed any sense of safety I had. Childhood conviction: I'm in danger.

No one to Talk and Share with no way to arrive at an understanding, to satisfy my intellect about those unfinished cycles (what Gestalt Therapy calls them) I continued on in life not completely moving forward - remaining at the space where I contemplated various possibilities of "why did this happen? how could this have happened" etc. all unconsciously for the most part, until I was guided to look at my feelings thoughts opinions decisions convictions arrived at at that time and examined them and realizing I now have choices, may choices with new awareness.

Which is also published on Amazon for Kindle, you'll remember me bitching about immigrants coming here just to rake in the dough but not get involved with being an American, not to contribute anything, indeed not even liking us.

The next day in my business partner's Jay Chen's office we watched American YouTube: Stevie Wonder in Japan etc., Graham T. Brown's Turn The Wine Back Into Water, with lyrics version and the without lyrics version;14 year old singer/musician/songwriter, Kory Scores' "I'm Crying For America," and parts of the Royals Wedding. Just to throw in humor though he wasn't joking, Howard Stearns video where he says the Democrats are all communists and he'll never vote for another one. I realized later I was doing my program, "Mainstreaming the Marginalized" with WendyZ and Jay.

Yesterday this free course - how to make your website profitable appeared on my computer. For the price of a hosting package and domain name purchase, I now have a new website, MainstreamingtheMarginalized.com
